The MAG  2010 Annual Photography Show “Hot Town, Summer in the City” was the July exhibit. The Judge was Michael Wessel, a Fine Art Photographer from Roanoke, Virginia.

The Mooresville Artist Guild Regular meeting schedule resumes this month. The September 28th, 7pm, demo will feature Jewelry making by JEANELLE SORENSEN. A self-taught jeweler, Jeanelle Sorenson uses sterling silver, semi-precious stones and charms. She drawsinspiration from both classic and contemporary designs.

Jeanelle credits her interest in jewelry making from a life-long love and appreciation of art and nature. She is compelled to use color, light and texture, just as a painter might; however the medium she uses is semi-precious stones.
