The Mooresville Artist Guild Regular meeting schedule resumes this month. The September 28th, 7pm, demo will feature Jewelry making by JEANELLE SORENSEN. A self-taught jeweler, Jeanelle Sorenson uses sterling silver, semi-precious stones and charms. She drawsinspiration from both classic and contemporary designs.
Jeanelle credits her interest in jewelry making from a life-long love and appreciation of art and nature. She is compelled to use color, light and texture, just as a painter might; however the medium she uses is semi-precious stones. Jeanelle Sorenson Jewelry has opened it's newest location at the Blacklion store in Huntersville. Visit her site www.jeanellesorenson.com.

MAG longtime Treasurer and member, Hiram Brown, saved back issues of Palette Patter dating from 1/21/71. Back then there was no Palette Patter but post cards were used to convey membership news and MAG events. You will find Mooresville Artist Guild tidbits of history in this space regularly. Hope you will enjoy this feature. If you have memories you'd like to share email bruna@roadrunner.com. Thanks!
